The videos focus on respecting the fundamental right to personal data protection. The finalists were seven candidates among which the Polish “Don’t be on Big Brother” video or the Lithuanian “Think about privacy” one.
The winners were given their award on January 28, 2010 coinciding with the European Data Protection Day. The award was given at the European Parliament. There were presentations by the President of the Article 29 Group, the European Data Protection Supervisor and the European Commissioner for Information Society and Media.
