The Agency was established to assess teaching, research and management quality and accredit programmes and strategies to implement improvements. In this respect, the Agency’s actions prioritise the improvement of teaching and research quality, in line with the emerging trends for the demands made by different cultural and productive sectors in Madrid and throughout the entire Spanish society. As a result, the ACAP cooperates with quality, evaluation and accreditation programmes developed in these areas at the state level, in other autonomous communities and internationally. Through the establishment of joint action programmes, the Agency also collaborates with and coordinates assessment initiatives with scientific research and technological development planned by the Community of Madrid.
