  • Bookmark and Share

This collaborative network is the forum where the agencies that make up the Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies (REACU) converge.

The REACU’s most important objectives are to promote cooperation among Spanish university quality agencies and to contribute to creating the conditions for mutual recognition of their decisions, among others . Further objectives include the promotion and development of cooperation and experience and information exchange, especially methodologies and best practices; collaboration in fostering quality assurance in higher education in the Spanish university system; and acting as a forum in which quality assurance standards, procedures and guidelines are proposed. A final objective is to promote quality assurance system development and implementation.

At present, the ACAP participates in the following areas:

  • Teacher performance assessment systems for the purpose of hiring
  • System of indicators for job placement
  • Monitoring official university degree implementation
  • Accreditation of official university degrees
  • Docentia

The ACAP signed a collaboration agreement with the National Evaluation, Quality and Accreditation Agency (ANECA) in 2003. It provides framework for the specific collaboration agreement to develop and implement the DOCENTIA Programme.
