A lone woman in a carpeted space with candles, comes forward and moves around. A thought, a feeling passes through her body and spirit. Something is stirring in her, a fantasy, a story takes hold of her body in the white, burned-out light of the theatre. The story is that of L’homme assis dans le couloir (The Man Sitting in the Corridor), the imaginary - or not - reunion of this woman and this man and the slow growth of desire... We discover the story with her. She dances what the story does not tell us. We participate in the dance because the body exists and we see it. We are involved in the game because it is a possible route for such an exchange. We are in amongst the violence because we are compelled by it but also because we react to it. We are in the eroticism because the enjoyment is also what saves us.
