Antesalas

Building on the positive reception they received at last year’s festival, the Antesalas are back: these are short talks held before certain scheduled shows, which will serve as an introduction to each artist’s unique world. Antesalas take place 30 minutes before the start of the performance and are spoiler-free spaces in which attendees who wish to do so can gain first-hand insight into some of the key aspects of each creator’s personal artistic vision and the references they draw upon, without influencing their viewing experience but offering the opportunity to enrich their appreciation of the work. Álvaro Vicente, a journalist specialising in the performing arts, will be presenting these brief introductions (lasting approximately 20 minutes) to the proposals by Dramatyczny Theatre, Trajal Harrell, La Mezcla, Marlene Monteiro, Consuelo Iturraspe, Laura Sbdar, Sebastián Rubio and Yanira Dávila.
