Paisajes de fondo

The Sala de Cristal at the Teatros del Canal will host the series of talks Paisajes de fondo, which aim to highlight the thinking behind various performing arts practices. These discussions, moderated by the renowned journalist and theatre critic Álvaro Vicente, will cover a range of topics, beginning with the influence of the American literary and stage tradition on theatre and dance worldwide. These will be followed by further talks focusing on multidisciplinarity and the transcending of conventional categories in the performing arts, Shakespearean characters viewed through a contemporary lens, and works based on personal confessions, testimonies and autofiction.
