Sinopsis

In the 90s, the center of Spanish large cities received grants for the rehabilitation of their streets and buildings. This caused a deep aesthetic transformation in the Madrid neighbourhood of Malasaña, cradle of the Movida (Countercultural and Musical Movement of Madrid in the 80s).
In those years there was a change in municipal regulations that forced bars and music venues to soundproof their stages, which reduces group performances, a hallmark of this neighbourhood.
Drug dealers on the streets, so common in previous years, also disappeared.
Due to these changes, all kinds of businesses grew, attracting a large number of visitors, and in a way, the current Malasaña was born.
