The stage is a 12mm thick cable, a thin trail which vibrates when Les Colporteurs dance on it - an hypnotic vibration which links the seven jugglers to the audience. It is a delicate artistic act that touches on the impossible, a choreography in mid-air. Le fil sous la neige is a story of balance and overcoming the odds, that of Les Colporteurs founder, Antoine Rigot, who suffered a serious accident which forced him to relaunch his career after 20 years performing at the highest level. Using a cast of young performers, it is the culmination of his exploration of forgotten feelings. A challenge for dancers on a path through thin-air, intertwined with emotions, desires, dreams and potential pitfalls.
