THE THEATRE OF TADEUSZ KANTOR
PHOTOGRAPHS by CAROLINE ROSE

An exhibition of photographs is being held to mark the 20th anniversary of the death of one of the most acclaimed theatre artists of the second half of the 20th century, Tadeusz Kantor. It also marks the 35th anniversary of the premiere of one of his legendary works, The Dead Class. The Festival de Otoño en primavera, together with the Polish Cultural Institute, the Cricoteka (the Centre for the Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor in Krakow) and the Teatro Español are paying tribute to the celebrated Polish director with an exhibition of photographs by the French artist, Caroline Rose.

The exhibits are made up of photos from performances at Krakow's Cricot 2 Theatre (founded in 1955 by Kantor) of the works, The Dead Class (1975), Where are the Snows of Yesteryear?
