The Argentinian Daniel Veronese (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1955) is one of the leading figures in modern international theatre. Founder of the Periférico de Objetos company, winner of more than 30 awards and highly-successful director and adaptor of works by Chekhov (Espía a una mujer que se mata and Un hombre que se ahoga) and Ibsen (El desarrollo de la civilización venidera and Todos los grandes gobiernos han evitado el teatro íntimo), Veronese is recognised for his particular stripped-down theatrical style which concentrates on the script and the actors.

Here, together with the highly-regarded Andalusian company, Histrión Teatro, he presents his work, Del maravilloso mundo de los animales: Los corderos, a production which premiered in Seville's Teatro Central in October last year.

Gómez is bound and blindfolded in the house of Berta, who he has not seen for 20 years. He does not know the reason for this but, after bringing up certain delicate subjects from the past, both she and her neighbour Fermín refuse to give him the explanations he demands...
