About the event

ALGO DE RUIDO HACE

I return to Madrid to premiere Algo de ruido hace with the objective of taking on a complex work, the construction of its characters, its worlds and its delicate and mysterious bonds.

- LAUTARO PEROTTI

Lautaro Perotti is, together with Claudio Tolcachir, one of the founders of the Timbre 4 company, best known in Spain for hosting premieres of works such as La omisión de la familia Coleman and Tercer cuerpo. As well as an actor (he played the part of the psychotic Marito in La omisión de la familia Coleman), Perotti is a theatre teacher and also a director (before Algo de ruido hace, he directed La flor de lirolay and Porque todo sucedió en el baño) and now brings to Spain the world premiere of Algo de ruido hace, a substantial work written by the Argentinian author, Romina Paula.

He has set up a Spanish-Argentinian co-production bringing together actors of the calibre of Eloy Azorín, Santi Marín and Fernanda Orazi. In a windy coastal town, two brothers who sometimes seem to be just one person, will have their routine disturbed by the arrival of a female cousin trying to sort out her life. The coming together of trivialities, pains and silences, the need to forget, not forget, the constant struggle to go on and the overwhelming loneliness drive the three characters through a complex web of conflicts and alliances which leads to the emergence of hidden dangers and unexpected outcomes. Because there are things which are possible and others which are not.
