Every production tells a story. The characters who belong to the world of fiction are given a credible reality thanks to the skills of the actor. In Footprints in the Snow, the skill itself becomes the protagonist. The actress, in first person, converses with the secrets that precede and follow the construction of a character and the creation of a production. The tension which is characteristic of all drama appears in the confrontation between the everyday behaviour of the actress and the conversion of this into her onstage actions.
"The art of the actor consists in organising his material; that is, to utilise correctly his body's means of expression". (Meyerhold)
