Synopsis
This documentary film, 70 minutes in duration, tells the story of Lewis Gruneisen, the first ever war correspondent. Gruneisen covered the Royal Expedition commanded by pretender to the throne Carlos María Isidro during the First Carlist War, arriving in Madrid in September 1837 to report for the English newspaper The Morning Post.
