Synopsis
"Two Mexican filmmakers discover that a French philosopher living in Paris, Francis Wolff, who is honorably known for his works on ancient philosophy and the essence of humanity, is also a bullfighting aficionado. So much so, that Dr. Wolff even wrote a book on the subject: Philosophy of Bullfight, in which he unapologetically defends this practice. On occasion of the philosopher's retirement ceremony from the prestigious university where he teaches, the filmmakers meet Dr. Wolff in Paris and convince him to embark with them on an initiatory journey to learn about bullfighting from his philosophical perspective. "
