Occupational health and safety

An occupational health and safety plan validated by the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety from the Ministry of Employment and Social Security is required.

The hiring of temporary staff is regulated by the collective agreement for the audiovisual production industry (wage rates and contract conditions).

Due to the current health situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, there are some new additional recommendations added to the general standards:

• Scripts should be reviewed in order to design and implement a strategy aimed at ensuring a "safe shoot", adapted to each stage the easing of lockdown restrictions until we fully return to normality.
• Drawing up a Covid-19 Occupational Health and Safety Contingency Plan, which includes preventive and protective measures for each specific space and job description.
• Coordination between all the professionals involved in the design and implementation of the aforementioned Contingency and Occupational Safety Plan. They shall be responsible for follow-up, compliance and adaptation to the applicable regulations.
