One night at the golden bar has been selected for two artistic residencies: Condeduque Contemporary Cultural Center and the program, Ágora, of the Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales. In both residencies, the director and playwright Alberto Cortés has developed his project, still unfinished. In the author´s words: “This performance of poetry and dance gets into the night world of bars and queer love”. One night at the golden bar -that takes its name after Mecano’s song La fuerza del destino-, is about the irremissible encounter of a couple at a bar, talking, from a queer perspective, about the stories that origin in these places, the gender identities and the multiple manifestations of love.
