Application for filming permits for protected natural areas in the Community of Madrid

Depending on the type of space (cultural heritage, historic heritage, sites of cultural interest, etc.), permits for filming in heritage sites in the Community of Madrid can be grated either by the Directorate General for Cultural Heritage or by the Treasury.

The application to obtain a permit to film in these areas must be submitted in writing at the Registry of the Community of Madrid. The process to obtain a permit ranges from 10 to 15 working days

The processing of the permit will depend on the location.

In addition to online submission, citizens and other subjects not included in the aforementioned article 14.2 of Law 39/2015 , may submit their application at any of the registry offices of the Community of Madrid, the Spanish National Government, other regional governments, local authorities, post offices and diplomatic representations or consular offices of Spain abroad.
